In addition, TriValley’s DXA Bone scan service is an important diagnostic service for some women. TriValley Primary Care can submit claims for DXA scans for Medicare patients. Medicare will cover DXA scans for patients at risk for osteoporosis, including post-menopausal women (and certain men) who may also be at risk for osteoporosis every two years.
